Priya is a sophomore majoring in Microbiology and minoring in Cellular biology. Upon graduation, she plans on attending medical school in hopes of pursuing a career in cardiovascular disease. She is passionate about rural healthcare, infectious diseases and health inequity and spent her last summer in Ghana working at an HIV clinic. An aspiring physician, she hopes to work in underserved communities both in the United States and abroad. When not writing for Stethoscope Magazine, you can find her watching The Mindy Project, complaining about Organic Chemistry, or at a local thrift store!
